6 Fit the panels to the server.
See “Removing and replacing the server panels” on page 25.
7 Connect all the power cables of the server to the power supply,
and switch on the server.
NOTE: The settings of jumpers and DIP switches of the
expansion cards may need to be changed. Some expansion
cards also need to be set up using the BIOS setup utility.
After removing an expansion slot panel, store it in a safe
place.
Installing the RAID controller
CAUTION: Follow the instructions listed below when handling
the battery for the RAID controller AF200C.
- Do not recharge or disassemble the battery. Do not remove
the electrode.
- Do not heat up or burn the battery.
- Do not allow the battery to become wet.
- Strictly follow the local ordinances or regulations when dis
posing of the battery.
- Do not replace the battery with another type of battery. The
battery is available from every authorized MAGNIA service
provider.
- Be careful not to fit the battery the wrong way around.
The RAID controller AF200C uses a lithium ion battery, which
could heat up, burst, or catch fire if handled improperly.
