Replacing the Retention Clamp
When you add a 3.06GHz CPU module, or replace a 2B GHz /
2.40 GHz CPU module to a 3.06 GHz one, use the following
procedure to replace the retention clamps.
1 Push down the retention clamp lever of the left side, and then
turn and remove the screws.
2 Use the screws to attach the retention clamp that comes with
the 3.06 GHz CPU.
3 Follow the procedure used in Steps 1 and 2 to replace the
retention clamp on the right side.
