Power requirements
The EPS-R module of this system has over-current protective
circuits.
Before plugging the power cable to a wall outlet, especially if your
server is a rack model, make sure of the capacity of the power
supply (current rating of the wall outlet) and that of the over-
current protector (current rating of the circuit breaker).
Whenever you have a question about wiring etc., consult an
authorized MAGNIA service provider.
The server has a current rating of 6.5 A.
Always use the supplied power cable and ground the server
securely.
For wiring in the rack, use an optional AC multi-tap recommended
by Toshiba.
WARNING: Do not allow a current above the total rated
current to flow to the AC multi-tap.
Doing so might cause fire.
The rated current of the AC multi-tap recommended by
Toshiba is 15A.
For wiring in the rack, use an optional AC multi-tap
recommended by Toshiba.
Do not use a multi-tap other than the supplied one. The use
of an improper multi-tap might result in fire.
Do not use any power cable other than the supplied one.
The use of an improper power cable might result in a fire.
Do not use any optional part other than the Toshiba genuine
parts or parts recommended by Toshiba.
The use of parts other than the Toshiba genuine or
recommended parts might result in a breakdown,
malfunction, loss of data or fire. For optionally-available parts
and devices, contact an authorized MAGNIA service provider.
NOTE: We recommend using an Uninterrupted Power Supply
(UPS) to prevent the loss or corruption of data which may
occur if the server goes down due to unexpected power
related breakdowns.
