Before installing Windows 2000 Server
Check the settings of the motherboard. Start the BIOS Setup
Utility, select “PNP/PCI CONFIGURATION,” and ensure that the
“Plug and Play Aware O/S” option is set as follows.
Plug and Play Aware O/S: Yes
Installing Windows 2000 Server automatically
To automatically install Windows 2000 Server, select
“Automatically install” from “Install Windows 2000” in the Server
Setup Tool window “Selection of OS installation mode.” To
automatically install an application software in addition to the
operating system, select the application to be installed in the
“Settings for installation of service/application software” window.
You may be required to select the device driver at installation. In
this case, see "Installing Windows 2000 Server manually."

Installing Windows 2000 Server manually
There are several ways to install Windows 2000 Server, for
example, installing from the Windows 2000 Server CD-ROM, and
using the WINNT command to install on a disk already
partitioned with MS-DOS.

Creating driver Floppy disks
To manually install, you must create floppy disks for the driver
beforehand using the Server Setup Tool.
Activate Server Setup Tool, select "Utilities" - "Create FD" and
create the following floppy disks.
