LOAD OPTIMIZED
DEFAULTS
Used to reset all BIOS setup options to
their default values. To do so, however,
you also need to change settings in other
submenus.
See “Resetting all setup options to their
default values” on page 130.
INTEGRATED PERIPHERALS
Sets the operating modes of the I/O
devices and hard disk drives.
HARDWARE MONITOR &
MISC SETUP
Specifies whether to automatically moni-
tor the temperature in the server and the
operating condition of the cooling fan.
SUPERVISOR PASSWORD
Sets a password that allows the supervisor
to change server settings.
USER PASSWORD
Set passwords that allow users to access
the server.
IDE HDD AUTO DETECTION
Specifies whether to automatically detect
the IDE hard disk drives.
SAVE & EXIT SETUP
Saves all changes in CMOS and exits the
BIOS Setup Utility.
EXIT WITHOUT SAVING
Exit the BIOS Setup Utility without
changing any settings stored in CMOS.
