5 Click Start, Settings, Control Panel, and double-click
the Network icon.
The Network Properties dialog box appears.
6 Click the Protocol tab.
Installing TCP/IP
If there is no listing for TCP/IP in the Network Protocols box,
continue with these steps to install TCP/IP.
1 Click Add.
2 When the Select Network Component Type dialog box
appears, select TCP/IP Protocol in the Network Protocol
box, then click Add.
3 Follow the prompts and accept all defaults.
4 Restart the client computer to complete installation of
TCP/IP.
Determining if configuration is required
1 Click Start, Settings, Control Panel and double-click
the Network icon.
The Network Properties dialog box appears.
2 Click the Identification tab.
3 If the Workgroup box does not contain the word
“SAWORKGROUP,” your network settings must be
configured.

1 Click Start, Settings, Control Panel, and double-click
the Network icon.
The Network Properties dialog box appears.
2 Click the Protocols tab.
