Types of email services supported
The Magnia SG30 supports several different methods of
transmitting and receiving email. You should understand
these methods, and choose the one that is right for you.
Local email
The Magnia SG30 comes preconfigured to support local
email transmission. This allows any user with an account on
the server to exchange email with any other user of the server.
Using this feature, client computers are configured to use the
Magnia SG30’s mail server, and messages are sent to and
held in the server until the recipient checks his/her email.
No email to or from the Internet is supported in this
configuration.
