❖ If the USB drive is powered on and connected, you can
click the Refresh button to scan for the USB drive again.
The screen will repaint and confirm that the drive has
been detected.
Sample USB HDD not mounted screen
❖ If the drive has been previously formatted, you can
immediately mount the drive for use (many USB HDDs
come pre-formatted). If the drive is not formatted or
does not mount, try formatting it first (see section below).
The process of mounting a disk drive makes it available
for use in a specific directory
