SET PASSWORD MANAGER
Syntax
set password manager
Parameters
None.
Description
This command sets the manager’s password. The default password is
“friend.” The password can be from 1 to 20 alphanumeric characters.
Allied Telesyn International recommends avoiding special characters,
such as spaces, asterisks or exclamation points, since some web
browsers do not accept them in passwords. The password is case
sensitive.
Example
The following command changes the manager’s password:
set password manager
Follow the prompts to enter the new password.
