The RCIP tab is divided into an upper pane and a lower pane. The upper pane displays a summary
of all RCIP ports in the system. The lower pane displays detailed information about a single port
selected from the upper pane.
The upper pane provides the following information:

Column
The port location in node:slot:port format.
Position
Media Access Control address of the connected device.
MAC
The state of the port. See
“System and Component Status Icons” (page 41)

State
IP address of the RCIP port.
IP Address
Netmask address for the RCIP interface.
Subnet Mask
The address of a local IP router on the same network as the InServ, used to forward traffic
to destinations beyond the local network.
Gateway
Maximum Transmission Unit. The greatest amount of data or "packet" size that can be
transferred in one physical frame on a network. MTU setting for the iSCSI port. The
MTU
default setting is 1500. When supported by the network, an MTU value of 9000 should
be used.
Rate that data can be transferred over the port (1 Gbps, 2 Gbps or 4 Gbps). When
there is no specified value, no connection exists.
Rate
The lower pane provides the following information:
