Controller Enclosure Modules
This section provides removal and replacement procedures for the controller enclosure
modules, plus the controller enclosure front cover. Most controller modules are hot
swappable, however certain restrictions need to be observed for some modules, as
identified in these descriptions.
The controller modules, the controller fan module, and the BBU are accessed from the
front of the controller enclosure. Access to these modules requires that the front cover be
removed. The power supply modules and the power supply fan module are accessed from
the rear of the controller enclosure.
C AUTION
Do not remove a module from the controller enclosure until you are ready to
install the replacement. An empty slot will disrupt the cooling airflow within
the enclosure and may cause overheating.
