Before you begin downloading, it is best if you already have communications running through RS Linx to your PLC. Once
the communications are up and running, you may proceed. There are two different ways to download a program from RS
Logix, as shown in Figures 7 and 8. Either way will download the program the same way. In Figure 7, you click the down
arrow once, then click the ‘Download’ item once. In Figure 8, you click on ‘Comms’ once, then ‘Download’ once.
