LOCAL MANAGEMENT KEYBOARD CONVENTIONS
All key names appear as capital letters in this manual.
explains the keyboard conventions
and the key functions that are used.

Keyboard Conventions
Key
Function
ENTER Key
RETURN Key
These are selection keys that perform the same Local Management
function. For example, “Press ENTER” means that you can press either
ENTER or RETURN, unless this manual specifically instructs you
otherwise.
ESCAPE (ESC) Key
This key allows an escape from a Local Management screen without
saving changes. For example, “Press ESC twice” means the ESC key
must be pressed quickly two times.
SPACE Bar
BACKSPACE Key
These keys cycle through selections in some Local Management fields.
Use the SPACE bar to cycle forward through selections and use the
BACKSPACE key to cycle backward through selections.
Arrow Keys
These are navigation keys. Use the UP-ARROW, DOWN-ARROW,
LEFT-ARROW, and RIGHT-ARROW keys to move the screen cursor.
For example, “Use the arrow keys” means to press whichever arrow
key moves the cursor to the desired field on the Local Management
screen.
DEL Key
The DEL (Delete) key removes characters from a Local Management
field. For example, “Press DEL” means to press the Delete key.
