atm_stp_state
NOTE: The atm_stp_state command is only available if an HSIM-A6DP or
VHSIM-A6DP is installed in the device. This command allows the user to enable,
disable, or check the current status of the Spanning Tree Algorithm on all ATM
interfaces.
Description:
Allows the user to enable, disable, or check the status of the Spanning Tree
Algorithm on all ATM interfaces. The user must specify the STATE option as
enable, disable, or status.
Syntax:
atm_stp_state [STATE]
Options:
enable, disable, status
Example:
-> atm_stp_state status
Atm Stp is Enabled
-> atm_stp_state disable
-> atm_stp_state enable
gigabit_port_mode
Description:
Used to configure the Gigabit Ethernet ports. The user may configure the
ports or see the current status of the gigabit configuration. Changing the
mode will cause a reset and loss of all data in NVRAM with the exception of
the IP Address and Subnet IP Address.
NOTE: This field is displayed only when a VHSIM-G6 is installed in
a SmartSwitch device. At the time of this printing, only the
2H252-25R supports the VHSIM-G6.
Syntax:
gigabit_port_mode [active | redundant | status]
Options:
Active – Enables both gigabit ports.
Redundant – Causes Port 1 to be active and Port 2 to be set up as a
redundant port.
Status – Displays the current status of the gigabit port.
