8.1 GARP CONFIGURATION MENU SCREEN
When to Use
To access the GARP Configuration screen and the GMRP Configuration screen. These two screens
are used to configure the ports on the switch as GVRP- and/or GMRP-aware ports.
Before attempting the VLAN configuration, ensure that the SmartSwitch module is operating in
the 802.1Q SWITCHING mode. The mode selection is a Local Management operation that is
accessible through the General Configuration screen.
How to Access
Use the arrow keys to highlight the GARP CONFIGURATION MENU item on the 802.1
Configuration Menu screen and press ENTER. The GARP Configuration Menu screen,

displays.
