MIB specifications
This section specifies Management Information Base (MIB) information for monitoring K2 devices
with the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). The Grass Valley NetCentral product
uses this protocol. This information is intended for SNMP developers. MIB files can be obtained
from the Grass Valley Developers website.
In addition to the MIBs specified in this section, a K2 device might support other MIBs based on
third party software/hardware. To determine whether other MIBs are supported by the operating
system or independent hardware/software vendors, perform a “MIB walk” operation on the K2
device using conventional SNMP utilities and determine MIBs supported.
