Sound tab
Use the Sound tab to set up audio features of the printer.
Setting up Sound Options
1 Touch System > Sounds on the touchscreen.
2 Choose whether to enable audio output from internal and external speakers.
• Internal Speaker - Check this option to enable the printer’s internal speaker.
• External Speaker - Check this option to enable the external speaker. This refers
to external speakers connected to the audio jack on the printer.
3 Use the Test Internal Speaker and Test External Speaker buttons to play a
sound for testing speakers and volume level.
4 Use the Volume slider bar to adjust the volume of the external speaker. This does
not change the volume of the internal speaker.
5 To enable a click sound when you touch on-screen keys, check Key Click . This
sound is only audible via the internal speaker.
