Select a connection type. These settings are typically provided by your network
administrator.

- If you will use Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), select
this option. Choose

Review the network settings.
When you make changes to network settings, several seconds may be required for
the system to configure properly.
Installing the Printer Driver (Network)
Use the following instructions to install the printer via a network connection on
Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8. The SPEED indicator on the
printer indicates the network speed.
•
Green (100 MBits/sec)
•
Yellow (1000 MBits/Sec)
•
Off (10 MBits/Sec)
Note: When the Windows logo testing, publisher verification, or digital signing warning
messages appear, choose to continue the installation. These messages indicate that the driver has
not been “logo tested” by Microsoft. However, it has been tested thoroughly by QuickLabel
Systems, and will not cause any of the problems listed in these messages.

Ensure the printer is powered on and connected directly to the network, or
configured as a shared printer connected to a computer on the network.
