If you are troubleshooting and need to temporarily use an alternate fuser, please note
the following:
• If no life remains on the existing fuser, the printer will start tracking life on the new
fuser upon installation.
• If life remains on the existing fuser, the printer will not track life on the new fuser.
The new fuser will remain “new” for the temporary use.
• A temporary fuser is allowed for approximately three rolls of printed media. When
the temporary installation limit is reached, the printer will start tracking life on the
new fuser and the previous fuser service life will be lost.
• If the existing fuser is re-installed before the temporary installation limit is
reached, the printer will resume tracking its service life.
Replacement Toner and Wear Parts
There are two Vivo! Touch printer models (R1 and R2). When you order replacement
toner and wear parts, check the model of your Vivo! Touch to determine the correct
supplies.
You can identify your printer model by the serial number label. This label is located
above the USB and Ethernet ports on the side opposite the touchscreen.
• If the model name is VIVO! TOUCH, order supplies for the R1 model.
• If the model name is VIVO! TOUCH R2, order supplies for the R2 model.
