Maintenance Procedures
This section describes how to perform maintenance procedures for the Vivo! Touch.
Cleaning Excess Adhesive from the Feeder Rollers
1
Open the feeder rollers.
•
If media is loaded, gently pull the media out of the rollers. The rollers will
open. Remove the label media from the feeder.
•
If media is not loaded and the rollers are closed, touch
Load
on the
touchscreen. The printer will attempt to load media, and when no media is
detected the rollers will open.
2
Turn the printer power off and wait for the LED near the touchscreen to turn
amber. Then unplug the AC power cord from the receptacle.
3
Use a pre-moistened alcohol cloth to remove adhesive from the metal roller (1) and
rubber roller (2). Turn the rollers by hand to access and clean the other sides.
When you are finished cleaning the rollers, let the alcohol dry.
4
Reconnect the AC power cord to an earth grounded AC receptacle. Load the label
media.
