QuickPeel
The Vivo! Touch prints full-bleed labels, from edge-to-edge, with the help of a
“matrix-in” label construction. Matrix-in labels have a die-cut label shape plus an extra
“matrix” around the die-cut. The extra matrix is there to absorb any stray toner that
might deposit when you print all the way to the edge of your label shape.
After printing, you have the choice to use the labels just as they are, putting the label
roll directly onto a label applicator, or hand-applying them to products.
Or, you can choose to remove the label matrix using the QuickPeel. The QuickPeel is
an automatic system that quickly and easily removes excess matrix and leaves you
with a roll of matrix-free labels on a liner. This may be desirable if you use a label
applicator that does not sense the cue marks on the back of the matrix-in media.
