System Modem Type
Command:
Response:
Status:
Response:
MC SMT_xxxxxxx'cr'
SMT_xxxxxxx'cr''lf']
MC SMT_'cr'
SMT_xxxxxxx'cr''lf']
Where: xxxxxx = IDR, IBS, DI, ASYNC, AUPC, EFD, or
CUSTOM.
Save Modem Config.
Command:
Response:
MC SMC_n'cr'
SMC_n'cr''lf']
Where: n = 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 (stored configuration number).
This command saves the current modem configuration for
recall at a later time using the 'RMC_' command. Up to five
different modem configurations can be saved.
Recall Modem Config.
Command:
Response:
MC RMC_n'cr'
RMC_n'cr''lf']
Where: n = 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 (stored configuration number).
This command causes the modem to be reprogrammed with
configuration parameters previously saved using the 'SMC_'
command. One of five saved configurations can be specified.
A.3.5 Automatic Uplink Power Control (AUPC)
AUPC Local Enable
Command:
Response:
Status:
Response:
MC LPC_xxx'cr'
LPC_xxx'cr''lf']
MC LPC_'cr'
LPC_xxx'cr''lf']
Where: xxx = ON or OFF.
Notes:
1. When programmed ON, the MOP (Modulator Output
Power) command is not allowed, only MOP status is
allowed.
2. ASYNC or AUPC Overhead only.

Command:
Response:
Status:
Response:
MC NOMP_snn.n'cr'
NOMP_snn.n'cr''lf']
MC NOMP_'cr'
NOMP_snn.n'cr''lf']
Where: snn.n = -40.0 to 0.0, in 0.1 steps (nominal range in
dBm).
Notes:
1. The nominal power range is modified relative to the
value specified by the modulator power offset
(MPO_).
2. ASYNC or AUPC Overhead only.
AUPC Maximum Power
Limit
Command:
Response:
Status:
Response:
MC MAXP_snn.n'cr'

Where: snn.n = -40.0 to 0.0, in 0.1 steps (nominal range in
dBm).
Notes:
1.
The nominal power range is modified relative to the
value specified by the modulator power offset
(MPO_).
2.
ASYNC or AUPC Overhead only.

Command:
Response:
Status:
Response:
MC MINP_snn.n'cr'
MINP_snn.n'cr''lf']
MC MINP_'cr'
MINP_snn.n'cr''lf']
Where: snn.n = -40.0 to 0.0, in 0.1 steps (nominal range in
dBm).
Notes:
1. The nominal power range is modified relative to the
value specified by the modulator power offset
(MPO_).
2. ASYNC or AUPC Overhead only.

Note: ASYNC or AUPC Overhead only.
AUPC Maximum
Tracking Rate
Command:
Response:
Status:
Response:
MC MAXT_n.n'cr'
MAXT_n.n'cr''lf']
MC MAXT_'cr'
MAXT_n.n'cr''lf']
Where: n.n = 0.5 to 6.0, in 0.5 increments (max tracking rate
in dBm/minute).
