(18) Wired LAN Connector
Plug in the LAN cable to connect the machine to a LAN.
Important
Do not touch the metal casing.
(19) USB Port
Plug in the USB cable to connect the machine with a computer.
Important
Do not touch the metal casing.
Do not plug in or unplug the USB cable while the machine is printing from or scanning
originals to the computer.
(20) External Device Jack
Connects an external device such as telephone, answering machine, or modem.
Important
Do not touch the metal casing.
Note
Remove the Telephone connector cap to connect the external device.
(21) Telephone Line Jack
Connects with the telephone line.
Caution
To avoid an electric shock, do not touch the metal casing.
(22) Rear Cover
Detach to remove jammed paper.
(23) Power Cord Connector
Plug in the supplied power cord.
