Voltage Regulator Board
The Voltage Regulator board (ADS p/n 5000-0638) regulates and
distributes power to the analog and DSP boards. The regulator
board is critical to intrinsically-safe operation. It regulates the
voltage supplied from the internal IS battery or external power to
the FlowShark IS boards to ensure that the monitor always operates
within its IS certification requirements. It also contains fuse and
current limiting components that will limit and/or interrupt power if
a fault condition occurs.
