Power-Up Error Codes
A power-up error indicates in almost all cases that the drive should be
returned to the factory for service. In general, any occurrence of a
Power-up error should be treated with extreme caution. It may
indicate the hardware is marginal.
Situations that may cause drive hardware errors, and which can be
remedied outside the factory include:
A watchdog time-out error may result from electrical “noise”
(electromagnetic interference - EMI), a firmware error, or a hardware
malfunction. The context of the watchdog error needs to be
investigated to determine the source of the problem.
