[DNS]
on/off
Enables/disables the name resolution via
a DNS server.
dns_domain
[Domain name]
max. 255 characters
Defines the
domain name of an existing
DNS server.
dns_primary
[Primary DNS
server]
valid IP address
Defines the
IP address of the primary DNS
server.
dns_secondary
[Secondary DNS
server]
valid IP address
Defines the
IP address of the secondary
DNS server.
The secondary DNS server is used if the
primary DNS server is not available.

sntp
[SNTP]
on/off
Enables/disables the use of a time server.
sntp_server
[Time server]
max. 255 characters
Defines a time server via the IP address or
the domain name.
The domain name can only be used if a
DNS server was configured beforehand.
time_zone
[Time zone]
UTC, GMT, EST, EDT,
CST,CDT, MST, MDT,
PST, PDT, etc.*

abbreviations can be
found in the menu item
’Configuration’ -->
’Time’.
The time zone is used to equalize the
difference between the Greenwich Mean
Time or UTC (Universal Time Coordinate)
of the time server and the local time,
including country-specific particularities
such as Daylight Saving Time.
Enter the abbreviation for your local time
zone as parameter value.
