Please use static IP addresses only.
Proceed as follows:
1. Start the PRINTSERVER Homepage.
2. Select Configuration – IPsec.
3. Select Edit rules.
4. Select Edit address templates.
5. Specify the address template; see: Table 8
6. Click Save to confirm.

Table 8: Address Template Parameters
Parameter
Description
Name
Name of the address template.
You can enter a maximum of 18 characters.
Remote (IPv4)
Specifies remote IPv4 addresses or IPv4 address ranges.
Formats/Convention/Example
- All IPv4 addresses = 0.0.0.0/0
- IPv4 address = 192.168.0.1
- IPv4 address range = 192.168.0.1/24
(The notation of address ranges is done via the CIDR
methodology.)
Local (IPv6)
Specifies local IPv6 addresses or IPv6 address ranges.
Formats/Convention/Example
- All IPv6 addresses = ::/0
- IPv6 address = 0:0:0:0:0:FFFF:a.b.c.d
- IPv6 address range = 0:0:0:0:0:FFFF:a.b.c.d/96
(The notation of address ranges is done via the CIDR
methodology.)
