13.2 How to Assign Print Jobs Directly
You can assign print jobs directly to the printers via the print server
without having to open the file-specific application software.
The print file can be assign via the PRINTSERVER Homepage, the
PRINTSERVER-NetTool, or via FTP.
The print file must be in a format that suits the printer. When a print
file is downloaded to the print server, the file is automatically
recognized as print file and printed.
Make sure that the logical printer does not convert data.

Assigning the Print File via the PRINTSERVER Homepage
Proceed as follows:
1. Start the PRINTSERVER Homepage.
2. Select Actions – Download Area.
3. Select File Printing.
4. Select a logical printer from the list.
5. Click Browse….
6. Select the print file.
7. Click Print.
8. (Enter the print server password, if necessary).

The print file is printed.
