Parameters
1. From the main menu, click 802.11b Radio > Advanced Configuration.
The Advanced Configuration screen appears.
2. Configure the advanced parameters. For help, see the next table.
3. Click Submit Changes to save your changes. To activate your
changes, from the menu bar click Save/Discard Changes, and then
click Save Changes and Reboot. For help, see “Saving Configuration
Changes” on page 45.

Parameter
Description
Data Rate
Choose the rate at which the access point
transmits data. In general, higher speeds mean
shorter range and lower speeds mean longer
range. You can set this rate to 11, 5.5, 2, or 1
Mbps.
Allow Data Rate
Fallback
Determines if you want the radio to drop to a
slower data rate when it has trouble
communicating with another radio.
