ENABLE SNMP COMMUNITY
Syntax
enable snmp community=”community”
Parameters
community Specifies an SNMP community string. This
parameter is case sensitive. The name must be
enclosed in double quotes if it contains a space or
special character, such as an exclamation point.
Otherwise, the quotes are optional.
Description
This command activates a community string on the switch. The default
setting for a community string is enabled. You would use this command
to enable a community string that you had disabled with the DISABLE
SNMP COMMUNITY command.
Example
The following command enables the SNMP community string “private”:
enable snmp community=private
