ENABLE PORTACCESS|PORTAUTH

Syntax

enable portaccess|portauth

Note

The PORTACCESS and PORTAUTH keywords are equivalent.

Parameters

None.

Description

This command activates 802.1x Port-based Access Control on the switch.
The default setting for this feature is disabled.

Note

You should activate and configure the RADIUS client software on
the switch before you activate port-based access control. Refer to
SET AUTHENTICATION on page 551.

Example

The following command enables 802.1x Port-based Access Control on
the switch:

enable portaccess
