Scanning
Introduction
Scanning is a function initiated from and performed by the software.
The only task done from the HP LaserJet 3150 product is loading the
item to be scanned. This chapter will show you how to load items and
then briefly cover scanning-related topics, such as how the JetSuite
Pro software works and how the optical character recognition (OCR)
software works.
In this chapter, the following icons appear next to a procedure when:
You can do it from your computer if the product is directly connected
to your computer. You can use the Document Assistant or the
software to begin scanning. A shortcut for completing the scan from
the control panel is also explained in this chapter.
You can do it from your computer if the product is connected to the
network using an HP JetDirect print server. You must begin scanning
from the software, but a shortcut for completing the scan from the
control panel is also explained in this chapter.
