Reducing or enlarging copies
The HP LaserJet 3150 product can reduce copies to as little as 50
percent of the original or enlarge copies to as much as 200 percent of
the original. It can also reduce or enlarge the following size
documents automatically: Letter to A4, A4 to Letter, and Legal to
Letter. Using the procedure below changes the reduction or
enlargement for the current job only.
Note To change the copy size normally used (the default), see “Changing
the default copy size” on page 155.
In addition to the automatic settings listed above, this table shows
some of the most common reduction and enlargement settings that
you might do using the Manual in % setting.
To reduce or enlarge copies
1 Press E NTER /M ENU .
2 Use the < and > keys to select COPY SETTINGS and press
E NTER /M ENU .
3 Press > once to display NEXT COPY SIZE and press E NTER /M ENU .
4 Enter the size to which you would like to reduce or enlarge the
copies in this job. You can choose
MANUAL (IN %) , LEGAL TO
LETTER , LETTER TO A4 , A4 TO LETTER , or 100% .
5 Press E NTER /M ENU to save your selection.
6 If you chose MANUAL (IN %) , type a percentage and press
E NTER /M ENU .
7 Press S TOP /C LEAR to exit the menu settings.
