Obtaining hardware service
If your hardware should fail during the warranty period, HP offers the
following support options:
●
HP repair services. HP will arrange to pick up the unit, repair it,
and return it to you within 5 to 10 days, depending on your
location. You can also choose to return the unit to an HP repair
office.
●
Express Exchange. In the United States and Canada only,
HP provides a reconditioned permanent replacement printer to
you on the next working day for calls received before 2 p.m. PST.
●
HP authorized service provider. Except in Europe, you can
return the unit to a local authorized service dealer.
Returning the unit
When shipping equipment, HP recommends insuring it. Also, include
a copy of your proof of purchase. Please also fill out the Service

CAUTION
Shipping damage as a result of inadequate packaging is the customer’s
responsibility. See "Repackaging guidelines" below.
