To program group-dial codes (and one-touch keys)
from the control panel
1 Assign a speed-dial code to each fax number (or e-mail address)
you want in this group. See “Programming speed-dial codes from
the control panel” on page 111.
2 Press E NTER /M ENU .
3 Use the < and > keys to select FAX SETTINGS and press
E NTER /M ENU .
4 Press E NTER /M ENU to select SPEED DIALS .
5 Use the < and > keys to select GROUP DIAL SETUP and press
E NTER /M ENU .
6 Enter the number you want to associate with this group and press
E NTER /M ENU . Choosing 1-10 also associates this group with the
corresponding one-touch key.
7 For the first member you want to add to the group: press the one-
touch key for the member you want. Or, press
S PEED D IAL , enter
the speed-dial code for the member, and press E NTER /M ENU .
8 Repeat step 7 for each member you want to add.
9 When finished, press E NTER /M ENU .
10 Enter a name for the group. To do so, repeatedly press the
numeric key for the letter you need until the letter appears. (See
“Using dialing characters” on page 107 for a list of characters.)
For example, if the first letter you need is a “C,” press

repeatedly until a C appears. Press > to go to the next space.
Note To delete a letter, press > until you reach the space to the right of the
letter and then press B ACK S PACE .
11 Press E NTER /M ENU to save the information.
12 If you have more group-dial codes to enter, press E NTER /M ENU
and repeat steps 5-11.

S TOP /C LEAR to exit the Menu settings.
