7.7.7 Edit Banner Message
The banner is the message that displays on the panel LCD when the system is
normal, that is, when no alarms or troubles exist and no one is currently using system
menus. You can create a customized message, which can be up to 40 characters,
two lines of 20 characters each.
If you do not create a customized message, the system will use the internal banner.
You cannot change the internal banner.
To customizing the banner display message:
1. Enter the installer code.
2. Press or to display the main menu.
3. Select for Program Menu.
4. Select for System Options.
5. Select for Edit Banner. A screen similar to the one shown in Figure 7-18 will
display.

6. Press the or arrow to select “Custom”, then press . A screen similar to
the one shown in Figure 7-19 will display.

7. Select each letter by pressing the or arrow, then press to move to the
next character.
8. When done, press to move to line two of the custom banner. Repeat step 7
and 8.
