Manually set the date, time, and zone

Pearl Mini uses NTP for time synchronization by default. However, you can manually set the date and time for
Pearl Mini using the Admin panel. You can also set the time zone. Pearl Mini uses the Eastern (Canada) time
zone by default.

To manually set the date, time, and zone:

 1. Login to the Admin panel as

Connect to the Admin panel

 2. From the Configuration menu, click

Date and Time

. The Date and Time configuration page opens.

 3. Enter the current date in the

Date

field using the format

yyyy-mm-dd

and enter the current time in the

Time

field using the format

hh:mm:ss

.

 4. Select a time zone from the

Time Zone

field.

 5. Click

Apply

.

Format the SD card

Before you can use your SD card for recording video using Pearl Mini, you must format the SD card for the
Ubuntu operating system using the Admin panel. We recommend using a minimum class 10 SD card that is
