Optimizing transient response
MP1530 affects the form of the acceleration ramp in all axes .

Since MP1530 is effective for all axes, the worst axis determines the entry value. No axis should
show an overshoot.
Connect storage oscilloscope to
tachometer of servo-amplifier of X axis.
Enter following program in
"PROGRAMMING AND EDITING"
operating mode:
LBL 1
X 100
1) R0 F MAX
X 0 R0 F MAX
CALL LBL 1 REP 100/100
Press machine START button in the
"PROGRAM RUN/SINGLE BLOCK"
operating mode.
Machine runs.
MP1530: Increase entry value until overshoot occurs.
MP1530: Reduce entry value until overshoot stops.

Check axes Y, Z and IV and correct MP1530, if necessary.

1) Program the traverse paths for the axis concerned as large as possible.
