Programmable Unlocking Feature
The foltüwing Is the list ûl avaflafjle ip,rograrnming
opliûns:
^odo 1: Driver's door unlocks when Ihe transmission is
shifted into PARK iP'h
Mode 2: AH door^ unlock when the transmission Is
shifted info PARK (P),
Mode 3: AH doors unlock when the Kay js removed
ffWi the ignition.
Mode 4: No automatic door unlock.
The automatic door locks were pre-prog raiTimeri al the
factory to unlock the dnver’s door once the iransmission
IS shifted to PARK (P), The following Instructions deiail
how to progr^rn your door looks ditferenfly than the
taclory sotting. Choose one ottho four programming
options listed above tjofore Entering the program mode.
To enter The program mode you nsed to do the
following:
1 Begin the ignition off. Then ipull tlie lum
aignal/muhituncifon lever toward you and hold
it there white you perform the next step.
2. Turn the key to RUN and LOCK twice. Then^ with the
Key in LOCK, release (he turn sigoal/multifunction
lever. Once you da tliig, you will hear ths luck switch
lock and unlock, the horn witi chirp twice, and a
30 second progTam timer wrll begin.
3. V du are now ready to program Ihe automatic door
locks. Select onq of the four programming options
listed above, and press tho unlock side of
Ihe power door lock switch to cycle through Ihe
unlocking options. You wilt have 30 seconds
to begin programming. If you exceed the
30 second limit, the locks wi|! automatically lock
and unlock and the horn will chirp twice to
indicale that you hava left Ihe program mode.
II this occurs, repeal the procedure beginning with
Step 1 to re-enter tho progranomlng modo.
You can exit Ihe program mode any time by turning iha
ignition to RUN. The locks wilt aulomaticaHy lock and
unlock and the liorn will chirp twice to indicate Jhal you
are leaving the program mode If the locWunlock
swifohes are not pressed while m the programfoing
mode, the current auto lock/'unlock setting will not be
tmodHiad.
