Playing the Radio
PWR (Power): Press this kn&b To ium dig systam
on and off,
VOL (Volume): Turn this knob to increase or to
decraasa volume,
AUTO VOL (Automatic Volume): With automatic
volume, your audio system adjusts autpmelically
to make up for road and wrind noise as you drive,
Set the volume at Ihe desired ievel. Press itirs button to
select LOW. MEDIUM or HIGH AVOL will appear on
ihe display. Each higher setting will allow for motie
volume compensatron at fasler vehicle speeds. Then as
you drive, automatic voFunne increas&s the volume as
necessary to overcome noise at any speed. Thg volume
levol should always sound The same 1o you as you
drive. NONE wHi appear on ihe display If the radio
cannot dotormine the vehicle speed. If you don't want to
use automatic volume, select OFF.
li your vehicle has the Bose radio, your audio system
monitors Iho nciSB inside yout vehicle. To use autumatic
volume, press The AUTO VOL huttan until AVOL ON
appears on the display. Then, automatic volume
will automatically adjust the volume ol your radio so that
it always sounds tho game to you. To turn The
automatic volume off, press the AUTO VOL button until
AVOL OFF appears on toe display.
DISP (Display): Press this button to switch the display
between tha radio station frepuency and the tima.
Time display Is available with toe ignition lurned off.
To change ihe deiault on the display^ push the knob until
you gee the display you want, then hold thg knob tor
two seconds The radio will produce one beep and
