Resuming a Set Speed
Suppose you sel your cruise control at a desired speed
and then you apply Ihe brake. Th^s, of course, shuU

can moye the cruise control switch ijKieHy from on to

Increasing Speed While Using Cruise
Control
Therg ane two ways lo gq to a higher spead:
• Use (he accelerator pedal to get to the higher
speed, Press the huTtor^ at the end of Ihe levet,
then release the button and lhe accelerator pedal
Vou'll now cruise at the higher speed.
• Move (he Cruise switch from on to
resume/accelerate. Hold it there until you get up to
tho spaed you wan!, and then release the switch.
To iricrease your speed in very small amounts,
move tho switch ijrieliy to resume/accelErata.
Each lime you do ihis, your vehicle will go about
1 mph (1.6 km/h) faster.
