At Least Twice a Year

Restraint System Check

&ure the safety belt reminder light and all your bolts,

bücl(les^ latch ptates, retractors and ancho ra^a are
wortiing property, Look for any other loose or damaged
safety belt systam parts. It you see anything that might
keep a satety belt system trom doing Its job, have It
repaired. Have any tom or trayed safety belts replaced.

Also lonh for any opened or broken air bag coverings,
and have them repaired or replaced, (The air bag
system does not need regular mainlenahce.)

Wiper Blade Check

Inspect wiper blades for wear or cracking. Replace
blade inserts that appear worn or damaged or thal
streak or miss areas of the windshield. Also see

Spare Tire Check

At least twice a year, after the monthly înflalion check of
Ihe spare Nre determines that the spare is ¡nflaíed to
thB correct tire Inflation pressure, make sure lhat
Ihe spare tire ie stored securely. Push, pull, end then try
to roíate or turn the tire. It il moves, use the wheel
wreneh/ratchel to tighten ihe cable See

Engine Air Cleaner Filter Restriction
Indicator Check

Vour vehicle mey be equipped wrth an engine air
cleaner III ter restriction indicalor located on the air
clear>er in the engine compartment. The indicator Jets
you know whan the air doaner filter is dirty and needs
to be changed. Check ine indicator at least twice a year
or when your engine oil is changed, whichever occurs

Weatherstrip Lubrication

Silicone grease on weatherslrips will make them last
longET, Seal belter, and not stick or squeak. Apply
silicone grease with a clean cloth. During very cold,
damp wealher more troquant application may be
