SERVICE BRAKE SYSTEM FUEL LEVEL LOW
If a problem oocuis Tfie brake system this message
wilt appear tjr the DIC^ If this rressage appears, step
as soon as possible and turn oli thie vehicle. Reslarl Itie
vehicle and check for the message on ihe DIC display
If tho message is slill displayed, qr appears again when
you begin driving, ibe brake system needs service.
TURN SIGNAL ON
If a turn signal is left on for 3/4 oi a mile fi.3 km),
1hrs message will appear on (he display and you will
hear a chime. Move [he turn slgnal/mulhrunctlcifi lever
to the oft position. Pressing the select button will
acknowJadge this message and clear ¡1 from the
DtC dhspfay.
REAR ACCESS OPEN
If the liftgate or Jiftglass is open while the ignitipo f& in
RUN, lhis massage will appear OH the DIC and you will
hear a chime Turn off the vehicle and check fhe
Fiftgete and Nflgfass. Reslarl the vehicle and dieok lor
the message on ihe DIC display. Pressing the select
button will acknowledge this message and clear ¡1 from
Ihe DIC display
If the fuel level is low in the vehicle's gas tank this
message will appear on Ihe DIC and you will hear a
chime. Refuel as soon as possible. Pressing Ihe select
button wi|i acknpwiedga this message and clear il
from Ihe DIC display,
CHECK WASHER FLUID
if the washer fluid level is low, this message will appear
on Jhe DlC. Adding washer fluid will, clear Ihe message.
Pressing Ihe select button will acknowledge This
message and clear it from the PIC display.
TRANS HOT IDLE ENGINE
If thg transrnissiqri fluid m the vehicle gets hot, this
message
Will appear on the DIC. Driving with the
iransmission fluid tempenature high can cause damage
lo Ihe vehicle. Step Ihe vehicle and lei
il idle lo allow
Ihe transmission to cod. This message will clear when
fhe fluid temperature reaches a safe level.
