Safety Belt Reminder Light
When the i(ey is turned to RUN, a chime will come on for
several seconds to remind people to fasten their safety
belts, unless the driver’s safety bell is already buckled.
The salely bolt light will
also oome on and stay
on lor several seconds,
then it will ffash for
several more.
If (he driver's belt is already buckled, neither the chime
nor the Irghl will come on.
Air Bag Readiness Light
There is an air bag readiness light on the Ir^strument
panel, which shows the air bag symbol. The system
checks ihe air bag's electrical system for malfuricboris.

The system check Includes the air bag sensors^ the air
bag modules, the wiring and the crash censing and

This light will come on
whsn you start your
vehicle, and it will flash for

the light should go out.
