Audio System(s) Setting the Time
Notice: Before you add any sound equipment to
your vehicle ^ like ñ tape player, СБ radio, mobile
telephone qr two-way radio - be sure you can
add what you want, tf you can, it's very important to
do it properly. Added sound equipment may
interfere with the operation Ot y Our vehicle's enCjine,
Delphi Electronics radio or other systems, and
even daimaqe them. Your vehicle's systems may
Interfere with the operation O'! sound equipment that
has been added improperly.
So, before adding sound equipment, check with
your dealer and be sure to check federaf rules
covering mobile radio and telephone units.

Your r&dro may have a button madied wHh an H or HR
to represent hours and an M or MIM to represent
minutes.
Press and hold ihe hour buftoci until (he correct hour
appears oo the display. AM or PM will also appear
on the display. Press and hold the minute button until
the correct minute appears on (he display. The time may
be set with ihe ignition on or off.
To synchronize ihe lime with an FM slation broadcasting
Radio Data Syslem (RDS) information, press arrd
hold the hour and min jle buttons at the same (Jme lor
two seconds until UPDATED and the dock symbol
appear an the display, tl the time Is nol available from
the sialionf NO UPDAT will appear on the display
inslead.
RDS lime Is broadcast once a minute. Once you have
tuned to an RDS broadcast station, it may lake a
taw minutes for your time to update.
