AUDIO: To adjust tha balance to the right and the
left
push and release tha AUOlO knob unlil
BAL appeals on the displav- Tum the knob to move the
sound lowafd the tight or itie lefl speahers.
To adjusl the fade to lha front and Ibe rear speakers,
push and release the AUDIO knob unlil FADE appears
on the display. Turn the knob lo move the sound
totfliand the front or Ihe rear speakers.
To adjust (he balance ar>d fade (o the middle position,
push the AUDIO knob then push it again and hold

will show the speaker balance.
To adjust all tone and speaker controls to lha middle
oosition^ push and hold the AUDIO khob when no tone
or speaker controt Is displayed. The radio will produce
one beep and display ALL with the fevel display in
the mpddia position.
Adjusting tha Speakers (Balance/Fade)
Your audio system is equipped wilh a Radio Data
Syslerri (RDS). RDS features are available for use only
on FM stations ihgt broadcast RDS information.
Using this system, the radio can do tho lollowing

Seek to stations broadcasting the selected type of
programming,
* receive announcements concerning local and
national emargoncieg,
V display messages from radio stations, агк1
* seek to stations vrith traffic anrrauncemants.
This system relies upon recurving specific information
from these stations aad will only work when the
inrormatjon is available. In rare cases, a radio station
may broadcast incorrect informalion that wiN causo
the radio features to work Improperly. II this happens»
contact the radio station г
While you are tuned lo an RDS station, the staiicm
name or the call letters will appear on the display,
instead of ihe frequency. HD$ slaliens may also provide
the Uma ot day, a program lype {PTY) for current
programming and the name
ol
