Brake System Warning Light
Wheii the ignition is on, the brake systerri warning llghi
win come on when you set ynur paring brake. The
fight wkil slay on if your parking brake doesn’t release
fully. If it stays on alter your parking brake is fully
released, it means you have a brake problem A chime
may alao sound when the light comes on.
Your vehicle's hydraulic brake system Is divided into two
parts, If one part isn'l working, the other part

work ano stop you For good braking, though, you need

If the warning IrghI comes on, there could be a brake
problem Have your brake system inspecled right away.
This light should come on brieliy when you turn itie
ignition key lo RUM. If it doesn't oorne on then, have It
fixed 50 il will be ready lo warn you if there's a
problem,.

road and stop carefully, Von may notice that the pedaF is
harder to push. Or, Ihe pedal may go closer to tba
