Air Bag Systems
This part explains the Frontal and side impact air bag
systams.
Your vehicle has air bags - a froniat air bag for the
driver and another frgnlal air bag for the right front
passenger. Your vehicle may also have a side impact
air bag- Side irnpact aif bags are available for lha driver
and right (ront passenger.
If your vehicle has a side Impact air bag for the drrver, the
lArords AIF BAG will appear on the air bag covering on the
side of the driver's seal back closest lo the door.

bag covering on the side of the right front
passenger's seatback closest lo the door.
Frontal air bags are ctesfgned to help reduoe the risk of
Injury from the force of an inflating frontal air bag.
But these air bags musi inflate very quickly to do Iheir
job and comply with federal regulations.
