Programmable Automatic Door
Locks
Vdur vghicia Is equipped with automatic lock/unlcck
fgatune which enabJes /oj lo prog ram your vehicle's
pov/er door locks. You cart program this feature through
the Driver IrTformation Center (DfC), er by the following
methoa.
Programmable Locking Feature
The fallowing is the list of availebJe prograrunning
oplionsr
Mode 1; All doors lock wheri ihe ttansmissicn is shifted
Irtlo gear..
Mode 2: All doors lock whan the vahicFe spaed is
greater than 3 mph [13 km/h).
Mode 2t No automatic door foe king.

detail how to program your door locks differently
than the factory setting. Choose qne o! thn throer

program madeK
To enter the program mode you need to do the
following:.
1. Begin with the ignition oH. Then pull Iha ium
signal/multifunotion fever toward you and hold
it thciu while you partcnTi lha rtejit Step.
2. Turn the key to RUN and LOCK Iwice. Then, with the
key in LOCK, refease the turn signat/multifunction
lever. Once you do Ihls, you will hear the tocK switch
Jock and unlock, the hotn will chirp twice, and a
30 second program 1imer will begin.
3. You are now ready to program the automatic door
locks. Sefact one ol the three programming options
lisied above, arid press the lock side of the power
door lock switch ta cycle Ihrcugh the lock options.
You wilt have 30 seconds to begin programming. li
you cKceed the 30 sacond limil, the locks will
aulomaticaify lock and unlock and ihe horn will chirp
twice to indicate that you have lelt the program
mode. Jf this occurs, repeal the procedure beginning
wilh Slap 1 to re-ontarlhe prog ramming mode.
You can exit the program mode any time by turning the
ignilion to RUN. The locks will aulomatically lock and
unlock and the hom will chirp twice to indicate that you
are leaving )he program made. И the locK/unlorih switches
are not pressed while In The programming nr>ode, the
current autolock/unjock setting wjlf not ba modified.
