IMPORTANT: Periodically remove and inspect
the adjustable gibs between the wedge plate
and the back plate as follows: See Figure 6-55.
NOTE
The adjustable gibs can be rotated and or
turned over for even wear.
1. Remove the center lock nut, lock washer, and
hex cap screw securing the floating gib plate
using a 3/4" socket and a 3/4" wrench. See
Figure 6-56.
2. Slowly remove the flat washers, floating gib
plate and adjustable gibs from between the
wedge plate and the back plate. See Figure 6-
57.
NOTE
Make certain the flat washers are position
between the wedge plate and the floating gib
plate during assembly.
